Websites built to be found, not just admired.
Looking good is table stakes. Loading fast, saying plainly what you sell, and telling Google where you sell it is what actually produces the phone call.
Audit us before you call us
Run this page through Google PageSpeed Insights, or right-click and view the source. If our own site could not survive that, you would have your answer about hiring us.
A site built the way we would want ours built
- Hand-written HTML and CSS: no page builder, no plugin bloat, nothing to break on an update
- Loads in under two seconds on a phone on cell data
- Every page names the service and the town, so there is something for Google to match
- Structured data on every page, and it agrees with what the page actually says
- Keyboard navigable, readable contrast, works with a screen reader
- A contact form that emails you, with no monthly form service to pay for
- Hosting set up in your name. You own the domain, the files and the accounts
- A short written guide for the edits people actually make, like hours or a new service
Every page carries a map of your business
Structured data is a small block of machine-readable facts we publish alongside the words on the page: who you are, what you sell, where you work, what you charge for a call-out.
Search engines use it to build the rich result with your stars and hours in it. AI assistants use it to answer questions about you without guessing. Most small-business sites publish none of it, which is why they get described vaguely or not at all.
Right-click this page, view the source, and read the block at the top. Ours is on every page and it agrees with what the page actually says. Schema that contradicts the visible page is worse than none.
What actually happens
-
Visibility check
We search the way your customers do, write down where you turn up and where you do not, and show you what your competitors are doing differently.
-
Plan and fixed price
One page: what is broken, what we would build, what it costs. The price does not move unless you ask for something new.
-
Write and build
We write the pages with you, build them, and test every one against the same checks we ran on your old site.
-
Launch and measure
The old site stays up until the new one is ready. We switch in one step, make sure old addresses still lead somewhere, and turn analytics on from day one.
Questions we get asked about this
How much does a website cost?
It depends on how many pages you need and whether the writing already exists. You get a fixed price on one page before anything starts, and it does not change unless you ask for something new. There is no retainer hidden underneath it.
Do I have to write all the words myself?
No. Most people hand over what they already have, answer a set of questions on a call, and we write the rest. You read and approve every page before it goes live.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes. The site is plain HTML and CSS with no login to forget and no software to update. We leave you a short written guide covering the edits people actually make, like changing your hours or adding a service.
What happens to my old website?
Nothing until the new one is ready. We build alongside it, check that every old address still leads somewhere sensible, then switch over in one step so you never have a broken site in public.

Start with the free check, not the invoice.
Tell us your business name and town. We will send you what we find, and you can decide afterwards whether a rebuild is even the right first move.
